Jennifer Guidi - Massimo De Carlo

Published on the occasion of the exhibition at Massimo De Carlo’s gallery in the historical Palazzo Belgioioso in Milano, the catalogue presents Jennifer Guidi’s paintings inspired by the Palazzo’s Neoclassical structure with it’s simplified geometrical forms exploring through close ups her unique practice of applying sand grounds with patterned divots, then over-painted with chroma-rich oils, intersecting two and three-dimensional planes like sine waves or tiny sand dunes scalloping her surfaces.
